NPC ad-hoc staff Enumerator and Supervisor Local Government Level Training Update 2023
NPC ad-hoc staff Enumerator: The Training of Enumerators and Supervisors, which was slated to start on February 6, 2023, has been postponed, according to Mrs. Evelyn Arinola Olanipekun, Director of Census, National Population Commission (NPC) recruiting.
The NPC Adhoc Staff Enumerator and Supervisor Local Government Level Training will be rescheduled, according to the National Population Commission, and a new date will be announced following the 2023 Presidential Election.
However, the NPC advised the “Approved” NPC Enumerators and Supervisors to regularly check their emails and texts for invitations to self-paced courses and virtual training sessions.
It is important for the NPC Enumerator and Supervisors Adhoc Staff Applicants to be aware that no list of Succeeding NPC Adhoc Staff Applicants has ever been made public. The “APPOVED” Status, on the other hand, denotes being PRESELECTED for LGA Level Training, Virtual ClassRoom Training, and Self-Learning.
This means that only after the LGA Level Training will the Final List of NPC Enumerators and Supervisors Adhoc Staff Applicants be made public. Some NPC Adhoc Staff applicants for enumerators and supervisors are perplexed as to why their applications have not been accepted. The solution is really quite easy.
The National Population Commission has stated that they will employ 623,797 enumerators and 125,944 supervisors for the 2023 Population and Housing Census Exercise, in addition to other NPC Adhoc Staff composed of 24,001 Data Quality Assistants, 12,000 Field Cordinators, 1,000 Data Quality Managers, 1,639 Training Center Administrators, and 59,000 LGA Facilitators.
If we distribute 623,797 enumerators throughout the federation’s 774 LGAs, that works out to around 805 enumerators per LGA. However, due to the fact that some States have more LGAs than others, this amount cannot be allocated equally. Therefore, there may be 2 to 4 enumerators per ward in some States.
In the same way, if we share 125,944 Supervisors across the 774 LGAs of the federation, it would be about 167 Supervisors per LGA. Meanwhile, over 1.5 million NPC Enumerators and Supervisors Adhoc Staff Application were recieved in the 2022/2023 NPC Adhoc Staff Recruitment Application.
