Why Some NPC Applicants Enumerators and Supervisors Will not be approved in 2023.
NPC Applicants: Why some applicants for the NPC Adhoc Staff 2022/2023 Recruitment have expressed anxiety over the Shortlisting (Approval) of Enumerators and Supervisors NPC Adhoc Staff because of unresolved queries.
These concerns are addressed in this piece, which also explains why many applicants for the NPC Enumerators and Supervisors Adhoc Staff will not be shortlisted (Approved). Additionally, it will inform the applicants about the supervisors’ and enumerators’ training.
Let’s start by reminding the applicants that there isn’t somewhere that a list of successful NPC Adhoc Staff Applicants has been made public. But “APPOVED” Status means that you have been PRESELECTED for LGA Level Training, Virtual ClassRoom Training, and Self-Learning.
The Final List of NPC Enumerators and Supervisors Adhoc Staff Applicants will thus not be made public until after the LGA Level Training.
Some applicants for NPC Adhoc Staff positions as enumerators and supervisors are perplexed as to why they have not been accepted. The response is really quite easy.
It is clear from the National Population Commission’s statement that they will employ 623,797 enumerators and 125,944 supervisors for the 2023 Population and Housing Census Exercise, in addition to other NPC Adhoc Staff made up of 24,001 Data Quality Assistants, 12,000 Field Cordinators, 1,000 Data Quality Managers, 1,639 Training Center Administrators, and 59,000 LGA Facilitators.
If we distribute 623,797 enumerators throughout the federation’s 774 LGAs, that works out to around 805 enumerators per LGA. However, due to the fact that some States have more LGAs than others, this amount cannot be allocated equally. Therefore, there may be 2 to 4 enumerators per ward in some States.
In a similar vein, if we distribute 125,944 Supervisors among the 774 LGAs of the federation, it would translate to around 167 Supervisors per LGA.
In the meantime, the 2022/2023 NPC Adhoc Staff Recruitment Application received approximately 1.5 million applications from NPC Enumerators and Supervisors.
The truth is that not all Applicants would be chosen, but some Applicants would be highly favored in one manner or another.
The Screening was the first step in the cutting of the Applicants. Therefore, candidates who chose not to take part in the nationwide screening are automatically DISQUALIFIED.
Similar to this, those applicants who took part in the screening but were not selected would have their application status changed to DECLINED.
We had previously given advice to applicants for the NPC Enumerator and Supervisor Adhoc Staff regarding what to do if their applications were not approved following screening.
This week marks the conclusion of the “APPROVAL” of Application Status. Any NPC Enumerator or Supervisor Adhoc Staff who has not received approval by the end of the week is out of luck.
The original deferral from February 6, 2023 was followed by no announcement of the NPC Enumerator and Supervisor Training Date.
The NPC Enumerator and Supervisor Training Date, on the other hand, won’t be revealed until after the presidential election, which will take place on February 25, 2023.
