census will cost N400billion If This Happen to – NPC Applicants: The 2023 census is expected to cost more than N400 billion, according to the National Population Commission (NPC).
This was revealed to reporters in Jos on February 13 by Mr. Jick Lawrence, the director of the NPC Public Affairs Department in the Plateau.
In order to make ready for the April exercise, he disclosed that over N100 billion had already been spent.
2023 census Over N400 billion has been set aside for the 2023 census, he claimed. The preparations for the process have already cost almost N100 billion; the census is a sizable and expensive undertaking.
He continued by saying that portion of the money would be used to empower roughly 1.5 million Nigerians.
In order to facilitate the mobility of employees and logistics, Lawrence revealed that 56,000 automobiles would be rented, and that around 800,000 Personal Digital Assistants would be purchased.
