NPC Enumerators Training Update – The training of ad hoc employees for the 2023 Population and Housing Census will now take place on a different date, according to the National Population Commission (NPC). Check Trending News The training for supervisors and evaluators, which had been planned to take place on March 31, will instead take place from April 25 through 30 in 2023.
The declaration was made at a workshop on the procedures and operations for the census that the NPC held in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The NPC Chairman and Federal Commissioners spoke at the workshop on important procedures that must be taken to ensure the success of the census.
On Monday, April 3 through Friday, April 6, 2023, refresher training for DQM and the specialized workforce is scheduled at the state level.
Census Night is scheduled for May 2, 2023.
On May 3 until May 6, 2023, fieldwork will begin.
A representative of the NPC Census Publicity Committee gave a report on the operation’s status at the meeting, highlighting the necessity of efficient oversight and coordination of the entire procedure at all levels.
The census date was also decided upon by the committee, which set it for the first week of May. The participant emphasized the significance of choosing an appropriate date for the census while taking into account the religious events that often take place in April.
While the NPC continues to make preparations for the exercise, it is hoped that the 2023 Population and Housing Census will be successful and provide trustworthy data for national planning and development.
