Marketers News Today 14 January 2024 About Dangote petroleum price list Update

Marketers News Today: The Nation discovered the refinery product price list over the weekend. In a phone interview with The Nation, Abubakar Maigandi, the National President of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), stated the organization’s urgency in obtaining the list.

He stated that the plan is to provide the members of the list as soon as possible.

“We want to know the prices of Dangote petroleum products,” he stated. To provide it to our members, we will make the request.

The executive members of the organization intend to pursue the refinery’s request for product distribution, as disclosed by Maigandi.

IPMAN has requested to have products from the refinery allocated to them, according to a Monday article in The Nation.

Over the weekend, the national president stated that the association is now more interested in the proposal than ever since the refinery started producing.

This follows the refinery’s declaration on Saturday in a press release that it had started producing.

The statement claims that the factory has begun producing aviation fuel and diesel.

Alhaji Aliko Dangote, President of the Dangote Group, expressed his gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his encouragement, assistance, and wise counsel in bringing this initiative to fruition.

Dangote expressed gratitude to Nigerians for their support and faith in the historic project, as well as to the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Limited), the Nigerian Earlier Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC), the Nigerian midstream sector and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA), and others, according to the statement.

The speaker expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for his unwavering support and for realizing their dream. Without his timely attention to detail and innovative direction, this project would not have been conceivable as it is now.

His intervention at different points in time removed all obstacles, hastening the project’s actualization. We also appreciate the help from NNPC, NUPRC, and NMDPRA. These organizations have shown to be our trusted allies on this momentous expedition. We also thank Nigerians for their belief and support in our effort. We have begun producing aviation gasoline and diesel, and if we get regulatory approval, the products should be available on the market this month.

“For Nigeria, today is significant. We are thrilled to have accomplished this important goal. This is a significant accomplishment for our nation since it shows that we are capable of planning and completing major capital projects.

This will completely transform our nation, and I am thrilled that this idea has come to fruition.

Six million barrels of crude oil have been delivered to the refinery at its two SPMs, which are 25 kilometers offshore. December 12, 2023, saw the delivery of the first cargo of crude, and January 8, 2024, saw the delivery of the sixth cargo.

The Refinery’s truck-loading gantries can handle 2,900 truckloads per day. The Refinery will produce goods that meet Euro V requirements. Using cutting-edge technology, the refinery design conforms with US EPA, European, World Bank, and Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) emission/effluent standards.
