Concerning the 3MTT Initiative
The 3MTT program is a crucial component of the Renewed Hope agenda, according to Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy Bosun Tijani. Its goal is to strengthen Nigeria’s technical talent base to drive its digital economy and establish Nigeria as a net talent exporter.
There are three stages to the training. Thirty thousand people are expected to participate in the first phase, which will be followed by three million in the second and three million in the third.
The acronym for three million technical talent is 3MTT. The goal of the Renewed Hope agenda, which includes the 3MTT initiative, is to establish Nigeria as a net talent exporter by strengthening its technical talent base to drive the country’s digital economy.
The program, which is run in association with NITDA, involves several parties, including placement agencies, training providers, partners, and fellows.
All Nigerians who are interested in learning a lifelong skill and are over the age of eighteen are welcome to apply for the 3MTT program.
Participants in the program are chosen based on their interest in particular skills, and their training is funded by a variety of cooperating training providers.
A vast array of ICT skills, including those related to digital marketing, software development, UI/UX design, data analysis and visualization, quality assurance, product management, data science, animation, machine learning, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and game development, are covered in the 3MTT curriculum.
Training providers and fellows are not required to pay for the 3MTT program.
Across the nation, training facilities host the 3MTT program. After completing the 3MTT program successfully, you will be given a certificate of completion and helped to find employment at a business that needs your skills.
