Tinubu: Let’s evaluate the minimum wage.

The national minimum wage may be reviewed, according to President Bola Tinubu’s hints.

According to Tinubu, the federal minimum wage needs to be updated to match the times.

Speaking on Friday at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, he welcomed members of the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF), led by its chairman, Hope Uzodinma.

The president declared that his administration’s top focus continues to be raising the standard of living for Nigerians.

“We need to do some math and soul-searching on the minimum wage,” says Tinubu.

“That and the revenue will need to be looked at simultaneously. Strengthening our revenue’s source and use is necessary.

This comes after he announced that the nation’s gasoline subsidy program would terminate.
