The Ogun government has begun enrolling 80,000 beneficiaries for the federal government’s conditional cash transfer program.
The Ogun State administration has commenced enrolling beneficiaries for the Federal administration’s Renewed Hope Conditional Cash Transfer (RH-CCT) across its 20 Local Government Areas.

Mrs. Funmi Baker, Programme Manager, Ogun State Cash Transfer Unit, confirmed the story while answering questions from reporters during an assessment and supervision of the exercise at Ipara community in Remo North Local Government Area of the state.
Mrs. Baker explained that the state’s ongoing enrollment exercise was the Renewed Hope Conditional Cash Transfer (RH-CCT) program, which was consistent with President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to alleviating the country’s current economic reforms, and expressed optimism that the financial assistance would have a significant impact on the lives of beneficiaries.
She stated that the exercise would benefit over 80,000 households in 192 wards and 2681 communities across the state, with each beneficiary receiving N25,000 per three payment circles, and that the enrollment list was generated by the National Cash Transfer Office, Abuja, through the state’s National Social Safety Nets Coordinating Officers.
Mrs. Morenike Sofade and Mrs. Fathia Ogunsola spoke on behalf of the beneficiaries, thanking the federal and state governments for delivering their commitments to alleviate the suffering of the underprivileged in society and committing to spend the funds wisely.
