NITDA: In an ongoing effort to boost Nigeria’s startup scene in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR’s “Renewed Hope Agenda” to generate millions of digital jobs, Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, the Director General of NITDA, held a fruitful meeting with a Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) team.
The visit’s goal, according to NITDA, was to deepen the two organizations’ current partnership with an emphasis on future cooperation, specifically the JICA New Cooperation Scheme Idea for Solving Challenges and the creation of a cutting-edge Innovation Hub that will house Fab-Lab and Startups Hub.
By offering financial and technical support to seed and early-stage firms, this partnership seeks to improve and develop a social startup ecosystem and promote the development of entrepreneurs in Nigeria.
