Cement Price: Price List Of All Cement Produced By BUA, Dangote, Lafarge, Ibeto, and Others
Cement Price: According to investigations, despite the agreement between the Federal Government and the manufacturers, retailers of the nation’s largest cement makers have kept the commodity on the market at exorbitant prices.
According to Naija News, Dugate, Lafarge, BUA, and other cement manufacturers have decided to charge between N7,000 and N8,000 for a 50 kg bag of cement.
At a meeting called by David Umahi, Minister of Works, an agreement was achieved.
Cement is reportedly being sold in the Idimu region of Lagos state for as much as N10,000 and N11,000, notwithstanding the original arrangement, according to reports from The Nation.
Furthermore, a Legit poll found that the agreed-upon pricing has not yet been adopted.
The previously stated publication was informed by a dealer named Kunle that a bag of cement was still being sold for more than N7,000.
“All claims regarding N7,000 are merely media reports; I still give my vendors more than N7,000,” he remarked.
These are the current cement market prices, as established by the survey that was carried out.
