Applications for the Class of 2025 are now being accepted at the Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology (MEST Africa) (https://Meltwater.org/), a pioneer in tech entrepreneurship education in Africa. Based in Accra, this 12-month program is fully sponsored and provides a unique training program with modules covering software development, go-to-market strategies, sales strategies, UI/UX design, communications, and more to help aspiring entrepreneurs turn their ideas into successful startup businesses.

The goal of the one-year training program is to prepare interested individuals to present their startup ideas to investors and start companies that use software to tackle regional and global issues.

Eligibility

Candidates must have an equivalent amount of experience or a degree from an accredited university or technical college. The candidate will be in a unique position to succeed in this opportunity if they have corporate or entrepreneurial job experience and a strong desire to start a software firm in Africa. Candidates should also demonstrate outstanding soft skills, such as strong communication and leadership traits.

Important Dates for Candidates:

Deadline to Apply: March 18, 2024

Final Interviews: Accra, Lagos, Dakar, Nairobi, and Johannesburg in April and May of 2024 (specific dates will be revealed later)

Start of Training Program: August 2024 in Accra, Ghana

Closing date: March 18, 2024
