About the Country Fundraiser’s role
Important responsibilities, including but not restricted to:
To support the Nigeria Foundation’s funding strategy, bid development involves collaborating with internal departments to create and deliver superior bids that target HNWIs and new donors.
Building strategic relationships: Preserving connections both inside and outside the organization that are essential to fundraising efforts to meet goals. converting high-value individuals and recognized organizations into donors or supporters. establishing connections through networking across all of our topic areas with important stakeholders and INGOs.
Individual Giving: Locating, cultivating, and overseeing a portfolio of recent and past contributors. assuming accountability for achieving the set goals.
Strategy and Planning: Expanding the portfolio to attract new clients by creating and carrying out operational plans that complement our approaches to fundraising.
Contract administration and reporting: overseeing the grants and contracts for approved Sightsavers projects; providing information on income, KPIs, prospecting, and account planning to the Board of Sightsavers’ Nigeria Foundation and the Country Director. upholding partners’ legal and compliance requirements.
To advise the Country Office on possible areas of partnership and fundraising, it is necessary to acquire and maintain a wide grasp of the corporate social responsibility agenda of business organizations and partners in Nigeria.
Location Of The Job: Lagos, Nigeria
Contract Duration: Fixed term contract 2 years
