Adhoc Staff Ptotest Non-Payment Of Allowances 2023 Census Full Details npc training allowance
In Bauchi State, 467 ad hoc employees of the National Population Commission (NPC) have demonstrated against not receiving their stipend.
On Tuesday, the demonstration took place on Wunti Street in the capital city of Bauchi.
The members of the ad hoc staff carried signs that read, “No pay, no labor,” and “We want our allowances from NPC headquarters.”
Speaking to the NPC state director and employees in Bauchi, the ad-hoc staffers’ spokesperson, Mr. Abbas Adamu, said: “We have done our job but have not yet received our due allowances.”

“On behalf of the Ad-hoc NPC 2023 Census Team, who took part in the exercise as a special work force and facilitators,
NPC Training Allowance – In the attached list, he said, “We are here to inform the Commission that we have not received our training allowances, which were conducted at the Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic and the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi, centers from January 23 to February 5, respectively, for special work force and facilitators.”
He claims that despite repeated requests, the state office of the NPC has not been responsive to funding the special labor force trainees and has omitted facilitators.
He stated, “We protest and present a letter to the office to demand payment of our allowances within seven days of the date of this letter.”
According to NAN, the protesting ad-hoc personnel were employed by NPC to support the state’s 2023 census effort.
Mr. Hudu Baballe, the state director of the NPC, responded and praised the ad hoc staff members for conducting the demonstration in a straightforward and peaceful manner.
“I have heard all of your complaints, and I have taken note of each one. “The letter that will be delivered to the Commissioner and the National Headquarters in Abuja has been delivered to me,” he stated.
Ad-hoc personnel who were upset were urged to maintain their composure by Baballe since the commission would make every effort to look into their situation.
