Another Governor Urged his state’s people to go and be verified to get a 50k grant.

To be eligible for the Federal Government’s nano grant, small company owners in Ogun State are asked to take part in the ongoing verification and enumeration process in the state’s 20 local government areas. Adebola Sofela, the Commissioner for Industry, Trade, and Investment, disclosed on Thursday that the exercise was scheduled to commence on Monday and conclude on Friday.

Noting that the majority of stakeholders believed the process was a hoax, Sofela mentioned that the Bank of Industry had texted those who had previously enrolled.

“The Federal Government and the State of Ogun remain steadfast in their determination to elevate the standing of small-scale business owners,” he declared.

To collect data, he pleaded with potential beneficiaries to report to the closest local government office with their National Identity Number and Bank Verification Number.

The government led by Prince Dapo Abiodun, according to Permanent Secretary Dr. Olu Aikulola of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, is making every effort to raise the standard of living for its citizens.
