When is nigeria police screening: Police Physical Screening: The Nigeria Police Force is happy to announce, on behalf of the recruiting board, the start of the physical and credential screening process for candidates seeking to join the General Duty and Specialist Cadres of the Nigeria Police Force as Police Constables.
From January 8 to January 29, 2024, a nationwide Physical and Credential Screening Exercise will take place. Interested parties will need to physically present themselves to determine their eligibility or for other reasons related to their desire to serve the country.

The following should be brought with all shortlisted candidates when they report to their respective assigned places for the physical and credentialing screening exercise:
- Evidence of physical and mental health from a government-approved medical facility;
- Proof of good character from the heads of each village or district;
- Original and duplicate certificates of origin duly signed by the local government chairperson or secretary;
- Original and duplicate certificates of national identity cards or slips;
- Original and duplicate certificates of “O” level results;
- Birth certificates or age declarations;
- Printouts of application forms;
- Duly completed guarantee forms; and invitation slips.
Similarly, everyone is cautioned—especially applicants—not to commit any crimes, such as forging or falsifying documents that are submitted for screening, as those found guilty will be detained and prosecuted by applicable laws.
With this notice, the Inspector-General of Police issues a warning against the actions of con artists and anybody else who could try to take advantage of the hiring process for their gain.
He stressed that there is no cost to apply or be selected, that it would happen through proper procedures, and that any unethical activity should be reported to the appropriate authorities right away so that appropriate action can be taken.
The Police Recruitment Board will be made up of committed and disciplined people, the IGP guarantees, who will make sure that the hiring process is open, merit-based, and free of unethical behavior.
