Special Announcement : Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC 2023 Recruitment

Announcement From: Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC 2023 Recruitment

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has warned people about a fake job portal that is going viral on social media.

The EFCC declared that it is pursuing the con artists responsible for the false recruitment because it will spare no effort to bring them to court.

For the avoidance of doubt, the recruitment procedure for the EFCC is open, organized, and merit-based. It is constantly widely publicized through the media and the Commission’s social media platforms.

Unfortunately, con artists are using this as an opportunity to create shady job postings and cheat the public who are checking them.

The agency distanced itself from the portal and advised the public to reject it, according to a statement issued by the head of media and publicity, Wilson Uwujaren.

The portal informed qualified candidates of a planned recruitment process beginning on May 23, 2023.

The commission emphasized that there is now neither a recruitment calendar nor a similar recruitment webpage.

The commission warned those who promoted these frauds to stop doing so or they would be detained and prosecuted.

The public was urged by the commission to disregard the recruitment webpage.
