In accordance with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, the National Social Register verification exercise has been flagged off nationwide by Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation Dr. Betta Edu. The verification exercise will last for three weeks.

NASSCO is the FMHAPA agency in Nigeria that is in charge of creating the National Social Register of Poor & Vulnerable Households and coordinating the Social Protection initiatives.

HM Dr. Betta Edu ordered the verification of individuals listed on the register created by the previous Administration in order to identify the real people who need to be helped in President Tinubu’s renewed hope for conditional cash transfers for the vulnerable people.

How to Verify Your FG Account Cash Transfer National Social Register – In order to check those on the register in all LGAs of Nigeria, the Ministry is conducting the verification process in their homes. If you have previously registered, be careful to be accessible if your identity needs to be verified.

NASSCO Nigeria, the organization in charge of creating the National Social Register, has issued a warning to the public about fraudsters’ activities while the verification process is still in progress. The warning claims that fraudsters have created FAKE National Social Register “verification forms” online in an effort to con unwary members of the public. Do not submit any such forms, join WhatsApp groups, or contact individuals posing as NASSCO employees with personal information.
