The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has announced the prices that Nigerians will have to pay to change their information on their National Identification Number (NIN). NIMC SELF-SERVICE mobile app

Recall that NIMC recently revealed that a newly available mobile application allows users to change names, dates of birth, and phone numbers that were improperly entered with their NIN.

Previously, modifying NIN data was a challenging procedure that required several visits to NIMC locations around the country.

NIMC did not reveal data change fees until seven days after the program’s introduction, in response to user complaints about technical difficulties on the mobile app.

NIMC established different prices for modifying specific self-service choices for changing data on the NIN, such as name, age, date of birth, phone number, and email address.

The Commission commented on its X account, “Great news!!! You no longer need to visit a NIN enrollment facility to change your NIN record. You can change your date of birth, name, address, email, and phone number using the NIMC SELF-SERVICE APP. “What are you waiting for???”
