The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has made the start of its hiring process for qualified Nigerians who want to work for the agency known.

According to NDLEA regulations, those who have finished secondary school, a polytechnic, or a university are entitled to apply online. The window for applications will only be open for two weeks.

NDLEA Recruitment Available Positions

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) is currently hiring qualified people full-time in the following cadres:

1.) A SUPERINTENDENT CADRE (General Duties or Specialists)

Associate Director of Narcotics II CONPASS (08)

Requirements:

HND or first degree from a reputable university

Certificate of Discharge/Exemption from NYSC.

First Assistant Narcotics Superintendent (CONPASS 9)

Requirements:

LL.B., BL, B.Pharm, B.Eng (with COREN), or equivalent

After completing training, you’ll be promoted to Assistant Superintendent of Narcotics I. (CONPASS 9).

Deputy Narcotics Superintendent (CONPASS 10)

Requirements:

MBBS or DVM

The position of Deputy Superintendent of Narcotics will be awarded if training is successfully completed (CONPASS 10).

2.) NARCOTIC AGENT CADRE

Chief Narcotic Agent – CONPASS (07)

Requirements:

Nigerian Education Certificate

Registered nurses, midwives, lab technicians, dental technicians, or their equivalents from accredited educational institutions.

Requirements:

A accredited educational institution must grant the National Diploma (ND) or an equivalent.

Agent of Narcotics – CONPASS (05)

Requirements:

5 credits in English and Mathematics for the SSCE, GCE, or NABTEB.

3.) NARCOTIC ASSISTANT CADRE

Drug Support Specialist I – CONPASS (04)

Requirements:

4 or more credits in SSCE, GCE, or NABTEB, including English or mathematics.

Drug Support Specialist II – CONPASS (03)

Requirements:

a minimum of three credits in English or mathematics from the SSCE, GCE, or NABTEB.

Driver, cleaner, gardener, mechanic, etc.

Requirements:

Proof of secondary education completion or Grade II or III on a Trade Examination.

NDLEA Recruitment Statutory Requirements

You must adhere to the following legal standards in order to apply for NDLEA Recruitment:

Born in Nigeria and in possession of a National Identity Number (NIN)

The ability to use computers is a benefit to all cadres.

Any diploma or degree that wasn’t stated, offered, and accepted at the time of hiring cannot be presented later on for advancement within the Agency.

possess a certificate of medical fitness from a government hospital attesting to their fitness.

Height requirements:

Male: 1.65 meters or more.

Female: 1.60 meters or more.

Professionals in the medical and allied fields must have active licenses to practice, whereas lawyers must have been admitted to the bar.

Must be morally upright, drug-free, and have never been convicted of a crime.

First category: 20 years or more but not less than 35 years.

The second and third groups are 30 years old and at least 18 years old.

How long is NDLEA training?

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency officials have stated that the scheduled NDLEA physical training which is part of the recruitment process for all pre-qualified candidates will be held this year, adding that the NDLEA training will last for two (2) weeks.
