Latest NPC News Today On NPC Commissioner Job Tittle: Olayinka Oladunjoye is now a federal commissioner of the National Population Commission (NPC), having been sworn in by President Bola Tinubu.
NPC Commissioner Job Tittle: The Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting, which is now taking place in the Council Chamber of the State House in Abuja, got underway before the swearing-in ceremony.
Oladunjoye served as Lagos State’s previous commissioner of cooperatives, trade, and education.
She took over for Mrs. Bimbo Salu-Hudeyin, who had been nominated by the state administration of Lagos.
Oladunjoye’s oath-taking ceremony was also held.
This week’s Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting is being presided over by President Tinubu, and other attendees include Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) George Akume, National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, and Chief of Staff to the President, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila.
Dr. Folashade Yemi-Esan, the head of the Federation’s civil service, is also present at the ongoing conference.
In the meantime, Dr. Mariya Mahmoud, the Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory, was not present for the cabinet meeting. Her home had been destroyed by fire.
The positions of Simon Lalong, the Minister of Labor, and Betta Edu, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, who was under suspension, were the other open positions.
Oladunjoye, the recently sworn-in federal commissioner of the NPC, promised to collaborate with all parties involved, particularly in the use of technology, to provide a more accurate data-driven census.
Commissioner Oladunjoye gave a news conference after the swearing-in ceremony in the Council Chambers, promising the people a data-driven census that puts acceptance and inclusivity first.
