Jobs In Nigeria: Fosad Consulting is seeking a Network Engineer in Nigeria to monitor and maintain computer systems and networks. The role involves installing and setting up networks, printers, scanners, systems, software, and hardware. The candidate will be responsible for establishing new user’ accounts, rebuilding machinery, and experimenting with new technologies. The role requires OND in computer science, 1-2 years of work experience, and expertise in networking, firewalls, remote internet VPN setup, debugging, and problem-solving.
Accountabilities
- Installing and setting up networks, printers, scanners, systems, software, and computer hardware.
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
- Immediately attending to requests and service issues.
- supplying technical help (either in-person or over the phone) to the entire organization.
- Establishing new users’ accounts.
- Rebuilding and repairing machinery as needed.
- Experimenting with new technologies.
- Potentially instructing users.
- Keep an eye on network performance and security (throughput, goodput, latency, availability, and utilization) and test for vulnerabilities.
- Address issues raised by end users.

- Qualifications and Abilities OND in computer science or a similar discipline is required. 1-2 years of work experience. shown expertise working as a network and system administrator practical knowledge of switching, routing, and networking (Cisco Switches)
- outstanding familiarity with best practices for server infrastructure management, control, and monitoring It is preferable to have prior experience with firewalls, remote Internet VPN setup, debugging, and problem-solving (Sophos Firewall) Skills to set up and manage server hardware. knowledge of backup and recovery tools and techniques Great at arranging, establishing, and multitasking.
