Call For Applications: FMN Prize for Innovation 3.0 food or Agro-allied business in Nigeria UP to N1 Million Cash Prize

FMN Prize for Innovation initiative was created to support fresh perspectives and inventions in the food and agro-allied industries in Nigeria and throughout the continent, and to explore how they may influence and facilitate the development of a sustainable food system in Nigeria.

Finding innovators in the food and agro-allied sectors who are actively and creatively advancing Nigeria’s achievement of food self-sufficiency will be the main goal of the third season of FMN – PFI.

The Group, working with the PFI management team, will evaluate, test, and assess the procedures these players use. They will also offer winning concepts and content along with the tools and assistance required to gradually increase their company’s sustainability.

Group 1: Owners of Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Enterprises who are Registered Businesses

Group 2: Nigerian Postgraduate and Undergraduate Students

If you are a student interested in the food and agro-allied industry or if you are a registered food or agro-allied firm in Nigeria, you should enter FMN’s Prize for Innovation, Second Edition.

To satisfy regional needs, this year’s edition looks for creative ways to expand and use local resources in the food business.

MSMEs’ application procedure

Fill out the form by February 15th, 2024, at the latest.

Provide a 60-second video and a brief presentation outlining your creative methods for using precision agriculture to increase Nigeria’s food self-sufficiency.

Your proposal should make it abundantly evident in your presentation how precision agriculture will be used to increase food production in Nigeria’s food and agro-allied sectors.

You need to provide documentation of your business registration with your entry.

Qualifications For MSMEs

Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Enterprises (MSMEs) operating in the food production and agro-processing sectors that are registered in Nigeria.

The application of precision agriculture to increase food production in Nigeria’s food and agro-allied sector must be the focus of your grand idea and creative solution.

Your concept needs to have a strong proof of concept, a clear path to scale, and a social or commercial goal.
