Innovate NGO launched a $3000 pitch and funding program for Nigerian businesses. Lagos, Nigeria:

NGO Grant Program: Innovate, a prestigious non-governmental organization and a branch of Crosspoint Church, has announced the launch of a $3000 pitch and grant project for Nigerian youth. This campaign is intended to foster youth innovation while also assisting small business owners across Nigeria in beginning and scaling their firms in today’s competitive market.

Innovate is urging prospective entrepreneurs and small business owners to take advantage of this extraordinary opportunity, demonstrating its commitment to nurturing innovation and entrepreneurship among the nation’s youth. The initiative’s goal is not just to encourage innovative thinking, but also to provide concrete assistance in starting and growing enterprises in a hard economic environment.

Ladi Soyombo, the founder and convener of Innovate, gave insights into the initiative’s vision. “Our mission is to empower the next generation of Nigerian entrepreneurs by giving them the tools they need to thrive. We believe in the potential of creativity to promote positive change, and with this pitch and grant initiative, we seek to spark the growth of small enterprises across the country,” Soyombo added.

Entrepreneurs and small company owners from around Nigeria are asked to apply for the grant, which will be awarded based on merit and the potential effect of the proposed business innovation or growth. Further information about the application procedure, eligibility requirements, and deadlines will be available on Innovate’s official website, cpinnovate.org.

Eligible participants will get the opportunity to submit their company ideas to a panel of experts at the NGO’s annual flagship conference, ‘Innovate 2024’, which will take place in April, with the most promising companies receiving funds to help bring their visions to reality.

This project not only provides financial assistance but also seeks to develop a network of like-minded individuals committed to making a difference via business. Innovate’s first pitch and grant in 2021 awarded N8 million.

That year, ten winners were chosen from over 1000 business entries received.

Emergency Station by Elcutiee won first place with a grant of 2 million Naira; Maximus Recycling Solutions came in second with 1.5 million Naira; and Keramel Naturals took third place with 1 million Naira.

The other seven runners-up earned awards of N500,000 apiece. They include Diya Collections, MyStash Technologies, Caregivers Nigeria, Afrilearn, Become Tech, Farmsquare Agricultural Company Limited, and ToiBox.
