3mtt registration Programme: The Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation & Digital Economy claims that a key component of the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope strategy is the Three Million Technical Talent program.
Its goal is to strengthen Nigeria’s technical talent base so that it can power the digital economy and become a net exporter of skills.
In keeping with President Bola Tinubu’s plan to create two million digital jobs by 2025, the program sought to develop a pipeline of technological talent.
Multiple stakeholders, including fellows, training providers, partners, and placement organizations, will be involved in the program’s initial phase, which will be carried out in partnership with the National Information Technology Development Agency.

According to the agency’s website, “We will choose people who have an interest in particular skills and fund the cost of their training with training providers accepted into the program.”
Software Development, UI/UX Design, Data Analysis and Visualization, Quality Assurance, Product Management, Data Science, Animation, AI/Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, Game Development, Cloud Computing, and Dev Ops are the 12 technical talents that will be prioritized for the first phase, according to the agency.

NITDA stated that organizations seeking to join its pool of training providers to train 30,000 fellows across Nigeria without a physical facility can apply. Fellows will receive training in specific technical skills that will enable them to compete in the local and international technical talent marketplace.
It was highlighted that neither a charge for program fellows nor a fee for training providers to be chosen is necessary.
Organizations without a physical facility may apply for consideration. However, they will need to have physical facility access when necessary, the government stated.
Applicants need a working email account and other information to apply.
