NPC Training And The new date for Census 2023 is yet to classified by the government, The new date would be formally set by the Federal Government, according to the National Population Commission.
NPC pledged to keep all relevant materials safely on-hand for the 2023 Population and Housing Census. Mr. Darlington Okere, the Federal Commissioner to the National Population Commission, made this statement in Ebonyi.
The Census 2023 will continue to be prepared for whenever a new date is announced by the government. All the operations leading up to the census activity, such as the Enumeration Area Demarcation and others, he added.

Nasir Isa Kwarra accompanied by the NPC Federal Commissioner, Rivers State and chairman of the Census Committee, Dr. Ipalibo MacDonald Harry; Federal Commissioner, Kaduna State, Dr. Abdulmalik Durunguwa; Director-General, Dr. Osifo Tellson Ojogun, and Director Census Department, Mrs. Evelyn Olanipekun paid an official visit to the President of Nigeria, His Excellency, Muhammadu Buhari at the State House, Abuja to brief the president on the level of preparedness of the Commission to conduct the upcoming 2023 Population and Housing Census.
With a discussion on Enumerators and Supervisors training who have not yet been trained, not to mention that the enumeration work will start on May 3, 2023, because of this, many people say that it must be moved from the 3rd of the month to a different time when the training of Enumerators and Supervisors is completed, then another time will be announced.

President Muhammadu Buhari suspended the 2023 Housing and Population Census Wednesday, according to Nasir Isa Kwarra, chairman of the National Population Commission, so that the succeeding administration may take control of the project and use the results for national development.
