Nigerian govt gives fresh update on N50,000 grants Payment

The N50,000 Conditional Grant Scheme for Nigerians is still in effect, as per the Nigerian government, which claims that 150,000 of the one million persons who were targeted have received funds.

This was revealed recently by Doris Uzoka-Anite, the Minister of Trade and Investment, using her official X handle.

As of this week, 150,000 of the 1 million planned grant payments have been made. Grant payments are still being issued.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government is attempting to mitigate the effects of the elimination of fuel subsidies in part by starting the award disbursement process last week.

The Presidential Conditional Grant Scheme opened registration for potential participants on its webpage in December of last year.
