Another Platform For CAC Alternative Registration  For Fintech Agents

About fintech agents’ alternate quick company registration for Fintech companies, the Cooperate Affairs Commission (CAC) has released a new update.

As per the findings of CAC, the Commission has implemented alternative platforms for expedited registration of agents, in response to Fintech Companies’ directive to register all Sole Agents, Super Agents, and Agents on their platforms by July 7, 2024, at the latest. This measure is intended to facilitate compliance with the directive.

The following are the options:

OPTION 1:

1. Customers can download and fill out the Business Name Registration form by clicking the link below.

2. Create a receipt after paying the required amount via remittance for availability and registration.

3. Send an email to quickservice@cac.gov.ng with the completed application form in PDF format, the payment receipt, the passport photo, and a scanned copy of a recognized, legitimate photo ID (as specified on the application form).

If your supplied name is objectionable or conflicts with an already-registered name, please be aware that by sending an email request, you also permit CAC to change your suggested name(s) as needed to assure approval.

OPTION 2:

Clients can collaborate with their Fintech companies, who will use API interfaces to the CAC site to handle name reservations, registrations, and reservations. For end users, this is the quickest and most practical approach.
