NPC Chairman Inspects Digital Facilities For Next Census

The NPC Chairman of the National Population Commission, Hon. Nasir Isa Kwarra, fans, observed the continuing building of the NPC Disaster Recovery Centre Annex in Kaduna State. The NPC Chairman praised the contractor for meeting job standards and working efficiently.

He was accompanied on the visit by the Federal Commissioner for Kaduna State, Hon. Mrs. Chief Engineer Saadatu Garba Dogonbauchi, the Federal Commissioner for Akwa Ibom State, and the Chairman of the NPC Headquarters Building Committee. Benedict Ukpong, fnse; the Director-General, Dr. Osifo Tellson Ojogun, fnasa; and other Commission management personnel.

Hon. Kwarra and his colleagues also conducted a working visit to the NPC Kaduna State Office to examine the state of non-sensitive census materials.

During the visit, the NPC Chairman spoke with workers and management of the NPC Kaduna State Officer, emphasizing that efforts are being made to improve the capacity and welfare of the Commission’s staff.

He advised them to maintain good behavior and do their utmost to ensure that the Commission fulfills its role of supplying demographic statistics for national planning.
