Beginning on Monday, 8th January, the FG will start recruiting humanitarian aid workers
Humanitarian Aid Workers Recruitment Will Begin on Monday, January 8, 2024, according to Minister Betta Edu of the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation.
On her Twitter account, the Minister announced this. As to her statement, the Ministry intends to recruit temporary Humanitarian Aid Workers and assign them to all areas where humanitarian emergencies occur.

In order to apply, members of the public need submit a formal application to the ministry’s Department of Humanitarian Affairs. Monday is when the link to the online application portal will become live.
The job application is completely free. In addition to lowering unemployment, this will enhance the ministry’s reaction time and future response quality.

Individuals possessing expertise and experience in managing humanitarian emergencies will be at a significant advantage.
Initially, these individuals will be engaged for a period of three months; but, if the crisis persists, their tenure may be extended to a maximum of six months or a year.
Additionally, the three-month Humanitarian Jobs window is open for new residents of Plateau State who wish to work as Humanitarian Aid Workers.
